These days it seems that the only thing we know for certain is that the questions and concerns outweigh the answers by leaps and bounds and the answers are no where to be found. No doubt this has been an increasingly challenging time for everyone. There is virtually no one in the entire world who has remained unscathed from this virus in some way and the future is uncertain and frightening. For a family with a medically fragile child the fears and and uncertainly are exponentially more of a concern. As the world talks of going back to some level of “normalcy” for us, families who have children with serious medical conditions, “normal” is not around the corner. We don’t have the luxury of taking the risks of going back to “normal” and this life of isolation is our new normal for the time being. Chai Lifeline recognizes the struggles their families are facing. Since day one of the world being in lockdown they have been there as a support in so many ways, constantly. Every day they send games, activities, entertainment, and messages of encouragement and joy.
This year Tour De Simcha is going to look very different than it’s ever looked before but one thing is for sure, the funds are needed more than ever. As I continue my training for Tour De Simcha, I know that these are challenging times and many are not in a position to do so but if you are able to and so inclined, I would greatly appreciate it if you could take the time to donate towards Tour De Simcha so that Chai Lifeline/Camp Simcha can continue the incredibly critical work they do to help and support kids like Rosie.
My objective is to raise $12,000 by then, and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. Please contribute by clicking on the donate button now.
Thank you for supporting me and, in doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.
Best regards,
Rochie Grossbaum
