Dear Friends,
We are very excited to share that we will be participating in the annual Tour De Simcha charity ride on July 14th, 2020. Tour De Simcha is an all women’s cycling event that benefits Chai Lifeline. Women from various cities unite to participate in this ride. The mission of Chai Lifeline Is to provide support and resources to children and families fighting chronic illnesses.
Camp Simcha is a summer camp that was created for children with cancer and other chronic conditions. These children look forward to the summer and their time in Camp Simcha. The camp is fully equipped to maintain the medical needs of each camper.
The ride will begin in North Jersey with 2 route options, a metric century (62.5 miles) or century (100 miles). Both routes will ultimately lead to a celebratory entrance in to Camp Simcha, which has become known as “The World’s Greatest Finish Line.” We will be greeted by campers and staff knowing hundreds of miles were collectively ridden in their honor.
We have created a team of women from Columbus to participate in this incredible event. We are riding in memory of our beloved friend Michael Weisz (o’bm). All who knew Mike knew that he was a leader with a mission to make Jewish life in Columbus grow and thrive. We are proud to be representing our hometown of Columbus and we need your support. Please support our team 614THRIVE as we embark on this exhilarating journey.
All donations are 100% tax deductible.L with proceeds benefiting Camp Simcha. If you have any interest in learning more about the ride or joining our team please reach out to one of us. All donations will be collectively pooled to reach our team goal of $20,000. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available as well. For more information please visit one of our pages below.
